Spotify is expanding its exclusive Afro Nation Portugal 2026 content with a second wave of live performance videos, bringing fans even more from this year’s festival in Portimão.
The latest release features Wizkid’s “Essence,” Olamide’s “Wo,” and Young Jonn’s “Sharpally,” adding to the first wave of performances released last week, which included Wizkid’s “Ojuelegba,” Tyla’s “Is It Love,” Olamide’s “Durosoke,” and Young Jonn’s “Xtra Cool.” Together, the two drops offer fans an extended look at some of the festival’s most memorable performances.
The videos are available exclusively through Spotify’s dedicated Afro Nation destination, launched as part of the platform’s partnership with the festival. As Afro Nation Portugal’s official streaming partner, Spotify is extending the festival experience beyond its three-day run, giving audiences around the world access to exclusive performances, curated playlists and artist-focused content long after the final set.
The partnership is part of Spotify’s broader investment in African music and follows initiatives such as Afrobeats: Journey of a Billion Streams and Afrobeats: Culture in Motion, both designed to spotlight the global growth and cultural impact of the genre. According to Spotify, the featured artists continue to attract listeners across markets spanning Africa, Europe, the Americas and Asia, reflecting Afrobeats’ ever-expanding international reach.
