CULTUR FM returned to Lagos on Saturday, 29 August, for a sold-out night of music, culture and community at Casa 45 Night Club, Victoria Island. More than 1,500 creatives, tastemakers, music lovers and members of the CULTUR FM community gathered from 9PM to 4AM, turning the venue into a meeting point for Lagos’ music and nightlife community.
The night featured sets from COCOA, CASPERSANDRA, VIBES & TPICK and TITANIUM, with PERRYBLACK and AYO SANTOS hosting throughout. Moving between Afrobeats, amapiano and global sounds, the DJs kept the room moving from the opening set through to the final moments.
A standout moment came from VIBES & TPICK, who brought live instrumentation into the club with a live band performance. It marked the first time CULTUR FM has introduced a live band to its Lagos experience, adding a new dimension to the platform’s approach to nightlife and music.
The August edition also marked CULTUR FM’s expansion beyond its traditional December calendar, strengthening its connection to Lagos and the wider diaspora throughout the year.
“This is what CULTUR FM has always been about, connecting people who understand the sound and the story behind it. This edition reminded us exactly why we do this,” said a CULTUR FM spokesperson.
With another major Lagos experience already confirmed for December, CULTUR FM is set to return with an even bigger chapter. Details remain under wraps.
